Jamie Lovejoy grew up in Beverly, W.V. in Randolph County. . Her father was a tree farmer and local historian. After living out west for 15 years, she moved back  to West Virginia permanently in 2017 to help with a family illness and business. She is married to the guitarist/vocalist of That High Country Revival and has a son.

Professionally,  Jamie is a project manager and data analyst for Elevance Health (Formerly Anthem). She is also the director of the Lemuel Chenoweth Heritage and Arts Association.  In this role she worked to digitize and catalog a large collection of assets from photos to Civil War era letters and made them available online.  She also secured grant funding  to help with upkeep of the Lemuel Chenoweth House.  Additionally, she created and runs a successful Airbnb that helps fund the ongoing restoration as well.

In her spare time, she creates podcasts,  collects oral histories, and makes videos. She plays banjo, writes songs, and took fiddle lessons with Dwight Diller until his passing in 2023.  She is currently a student of Jessie Milnes (Son of Gerry Milnes).  She has a passion for West Virginia old-time music and looks forward everyday to learning more about it and passing it on.
